Meet the Cast of MAMMA MIA!

 BAILEY DONAHUE (Sophie Sheridan) is excited to return to theater after a 10-year hiatus, previously appearing in shows such as Miss Saigon, Fiddler on the Roof, Cats and Les Miserables at the UH Hilo Performing Arts Center and the Palace Theater.  She was raised in Puna and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Hawai’i, Hilo.  Bailey spent 8 years in Seattle, WA working in the cancer immunotherapy space; while there, served as ho’opa’a (chanter) for Hula Hālau O Leihuluonalani, led by Kumu Hula Leila Fernandez of O’ahu.  Bailey received her Master’s in Teaching from the University of Washington in 2022, which allowed her to return to her beloved Big Island to spread a love of science, Hawaiian culture, and performing arts to youth in her community.  She currently teaches Science and Computer Science at Waikōloa Middle School, and is advisor for the Polynesian Dance Club and Ho’olaule’a Royal Court.  She lives with her wonderful, loving and supportive husband, Ryder, their dog, Dumpling, and two cats, Marbles and Pebbles.


LILLIAN MILLS (Ali / Understudy Sophie) has performed since the age of 9 on stages in Oahu, Beijing, Maui and Hawaii island. They are excited to have the opportunity to connect to theater on the Big Island after relocating from Maui to attend Hawaii Preparatory Academy. Lillian is a junior at HPA, and was last seen as the Duchess in Alice in Wonderland, and as Paulette in Legally Blonde at GPAC directed by Delaney McGrath. Other credits include Dorothy in Wizard of Oz (Iao Theatre, Maui); Edgar in King Lear;  Audrey in As You Like It; Featured Singer/Dancer in World Goes Around (Seabury Hall, Maui);  the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol (ProArts, Maui). They are thrilled to be onstage with WCT  working with this incredible cast and their Mom. (Dynamos dynamite, sleep all day and whoop all night!!)


SABINE WINTEROWD (Lisa) originally from Japan, is a junior and international boarding student at HPA. Sabine has been seen performing on the GPAC stage in Legally Blonde (2023), and in Alice in Wonderland (2024) under the direction of Delaney McGrath.  Sabine has experience in other shows, and has a great passion for the performing arts. They are looking forward to continuing with performing after high school graduation.


CHRISTIAN ARAGON (Sky) performs and teaches at The Aloha Theater (APAC) - you may have seen him in ELF the MUSICAL Jr.  (Buddy) or APAC’s 2019 production of MAMMA MIA! (Pepper).  Christian is also a choreographer for the upcoming production of SpongeBob Square Pants at APAC. He is absolutely thrilled to return to the stage with long-lasting charisma and passion to carry him along to his dream to act professionally.


DAKOTA RIVERA  (Eddie) is a touring comedian, self taught multi instrumentalist, and devoted performer from the age of seven. Their repertoire ranges from Cumbia to contemporary, and the occasional swing. When they aren’t on stage, Dakota can be found living under mossy rocks, avoiding the sun. They are a proud parent to a sourdough starter, Donna, and a young chicken, Teriyaki. Dakota would like to thank their family for their years of unwavering support.


BRANDON GONZALEZ  (Pepper) is a graduating senior who grew up in the east side of Washington state. His hobbies include video games, playing his piano, guitar, and bass. He plans on going to YWAM Kona for their school of music and becoming a music teacher.


CLEMSON LAM (Harry Bright) is a Waimea architect.  He has appeared in other WCT productions, most notably as “FeiGan” in OLIVER!, SHREK (Donkey), The King and I (King of Siam).  Clem is excited for the opportunity to be with this group of energetic players, directors and MAMMA MIA! crew.


JOHN STOVER (Sam Carmichael) has appeared in many WCT productions over the years including Victor Victoria, South Pacific, King Lear, The Music Man and The Little Mermaid. He sings with the Waimea Community Chorus and Kona Choral Society, is happily retired, enjoys traveling with his husband, and gardening at their home in Waikoloa.


SAM VALENTI (Bill Austin) has been involved in theatre since 5th grade and APAC and WCT since 2004. His favorite pastime is fending off small children and playing board games. Sam is very thankful to his wife, Abi, for wrangling their two sons (Samuel and Arthur) by herself during the 3 months of rehearsals so he could do the show.


LORENE LIVINGSTON (Rosie) has graced Big Island stages in roles like Missy in Winter Wonderettes at Aloha Theatre, various featured ensemble roles in RENT at Kahilu Theatre, and as a dancer for Hawaii Irish Dance.  She now brings her talents to the sunny shores of Greece as the lovable and quirky Rosie in MAMMA MIA!  Lorene's passion for nurturing extends beyond the limelight as a Special Education Kumu at Kanu o ka `Āina and Volunteer Services Coordinator with Hospice of Kona. And let's not forget her starring role as a proud dog mom to three lovable rescues – the real stars of her heart's encore!


MIRIAM WILSON (Tanya) is grateful to be performing with WCT for the first time. On the Big Island she has performed with the Hilo Community Players and HEART Hilo Productions. Miriam lives in Ninole with Jeff, four dogs and many fancy goldfish.


RAINA RACKI (Donna Sheridan) Raina has loved the magic of performing arts since she was a child, beginning with ballet and continuing into modern dance, choir, band, orchestra, and musical theatre. She studied at the MN Conservatory for the Arts, UW-Milwaukee and the Alvin Ailey School in NYC. Performance credits range from festivals in Edinburgh, Kyoto and Vilnius to works with Oahu’s ‘Ohi’a Productions, Convergence Dance Theatre, Iona Contemporary Dance Theatre and Wailana Dance Company.  Choreographing modern dance pieces and composing original devotional selections is thrilling for her.  When not jammin’ to ABBA, these days Raina is mothering her two keiki, running Pueo Produce and writing her first book. Her debut with WCT has been made possible due to the incredible support from her singular, off-stage sweetie, Marcos.


AIMEE WATKINS (Ensemble, Sophie’s dream dance double) returns to the stage after a 24 year hiatus.  She is excited about the Performing Arts and its impact on the hearts and minds of our community.  Aimee currently lives in beautiful North Kohala with her loving husband and 2 adorable boys.

GRETCHEN SELL-FINLEY (Ensemble, Rosie understudy) is excited to make her Musical Debut with WCT.  She was last on stage at Shasta College where she was in Dracula and Measure for Measure.  Gretchen and her husband, Delain, recently moved to Hawaii from CA with their 3 dogs.  Gretchen works with adults as a Speech Therapist.


JAYNE KERNS (Ensemble) is excited and grateful to return to the stage! She sends special thanks to the show’s choreographers, musical and stage directors and entire cast for their support, enthusiasm and dedication and thanks her husband, Thom for cheering her on! Jayne’s previous WCT roles include The Drowsy Chaperone (Mrs. Tottendale), Victor/Victoria (Norma), The Tempest (Miranda),  and Sister Mary Leo in the ‘91 & ‘92 productions of  Nunsense.

RONA LEE (Ensemble) has been in WCT productions of South Pacific (Bloody Mary), Fiddler on the Roof, King Lear, Proposals, The Music Man, Rumors, Shrek, The Little Mermaid and at Kahilu Theatre in ensembles of Vagina Monologues, South Pacific and Waimea Community Chorus.  Born and raised in NY, she studied Theatre Arts at SUNY Purchase Conservatory, traveled 4 continents in Up With People, serves as the Choir Director at St. James’ Episcopal Church, paddles with Kawaihae Canoe Club Kupuna, and volunteers at Kahilu Theatre.  A Hawaii Island resident since 1990, her biggest claim to fame are her 5 alphabetical children, and 2-½ year old grandson, Noa.


MELANIE RUFO (Ensemble) Melanie’s first venture on-stage was with her mom and siblings in WCT’s A Christmas Carol.  She continues to sing in church and recently returned to community theater for MAMMA MIA!  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her husband, reading and watching Netflix.

ARIANA JACQUELINE DALE (Ensemble) Ariana has been in several WCT productions including Pippin, The Hobbit, James and the Giant Peach, and Steel Magnolias. She was also in Kilauea Drama and Entertainment Network (KDEN’s) production of The Music Man.  Ariana has participated backstage at pretty much every community theater on the island, this is her first time at GPAC.
